Hi everyone. I'm in Minnesota now, but will be visiting some relatives in a couple days. Interested in buying a bike that maybe I can make into fixed. (?) I need a small frame and I heard that you have a few. I'll be town Thursday morning and on Friday eveing, will be going to Ventura County-where the relatives live. Planning on spending the following 2 weeks back and forth between those two areas. I really want to do a lot of riding-as basically it's been 30 or below here!
Thanks, meow

yeah, we spoke on another, lesser forum, and i'm thinking the yellow schwinn varsity we have in the shop should work out well, so if we can hold it we should. i've got a rear wheel i'm willing to part with, but since i'm leaving thursday i'll have to drop it off wednesday night. i'll mark it and leave it for you. Thursday night crew be on the lookout.

well whoever is head mechanic on thursday will have to quote you a price for the frame, but i'll be donating the wheel to the shop for your project, so technically you'll owe the shop $20.00 for the wheel. It's a formula hub laced 3x to a sun ma13(?) rim, barely ever used, maybe 50 or 60 miles on it. It comes with a freehweel and a fixed cog, both 16-tooth. If you don't want the freewheel I'd suggest having someone help you remove it and leave it, cuz we're out of stock on them right now.

Yah-I don't need the freewheel-don't use the one here at home-so I'll leave it with the shop.

The yellow Schwinn I'm thinking of belongs to some guy who's putting all the original parts back on it for his neighbor. He was working on it on Saturday...
And I'm pretty sure we only have one yellow Schwinn so I'd check on that before I sell it. Even if he forgot to put a tag on it, it would suck to sell someone else's bike.

damn, well i wonder if we're talking about the same bike, cuz this one didn't have any tags on it, and hadn't been worked on, so it still had all the parts on it. if not that one, we'll have something else.
