Many thanks to Mike and Dominic at Hytech for the sandblast and powder coat:

That there's a Morrow coaster brake hub and a newly spoked steel rim. Now I have to get some chrome and some polishing done...

Thank you very much for the company info, I'm feeling your real happy with their work/service.  Good to have a shop we can tell people about, if even just to help start the "finding" process!

Yeah, really nice folks. Does anyone know a chrome plater on the westside? I'm about to go to Astro in the  Valley, but I'd rather stick to this side of town if there is a good shop nearby.

Not much precision here with my info:
There is a chrome plating Co in Hollywood on Santa Monica Bl.  I remember it is a small store front business, but definatly on SM Blvd.
What about any on Jefferson west of Mesmer by the 405, near Heaven or Las Vegas Neon

what do they charge for sandblast & powdercoat for frame and fork?

do they chase the threads for you or protect the threads in any way?

Yeah...

... what do they charge for a:
  • sandblast,
  • powder-coat,
  • thread-masking,
  • and while they're at it, triple chrome plating?

Yeah, and what's their price-list, hours of operation, address and liability policy?
And could you list their employees along with individual performance records, too?!!?  laugh

i called them up.

$95 minimum for a powdercoat. Sandblasting is done offsite for an additional charge.

They do protect the threads.

The price is reasonable.
