A Gathering of Bike Collectors, Enthusiasts and Historians in Celebration of the Vintage Lightweight Bicycle.
I've been to this event for the past several years. There are lectures and seminars and the main event on Sunday is showcase for road bike collectors from all over the country. Very cool stuff. Every year they feature a bicycle brand. Last year it was Bianchi, the previous year it was Masi. This year is Colnago.
It's put on by Chuck Schmidt, one of the premier road bike collectors in the US.
Ted Ernst who always helps out is a local legend in the bike community. I still remember buying my first road bike, a white Peugeot from him in 1972.
