Steve and I met the Vittoria shoes dudes at Interbike.  I think he has the wholesale pricing info.

Speaking of Swrve.  I just got word Swrve is offering 50% off to all voting members of all the Bike Coops here in LA...

I don't know what Swrve is buying these Vittoria "1976" model shoes for, but the wholesale cost is 55 Euro, which currently equals $75 US.  They also come in a light brown suede, brown (I think with red thread) and the black.  Swrve only carries the black.

We'd be buying them directly, the more we spend the cheaper the shipping from Italy, but we also have to pay an import duty and I have no idea what that would be.  Sadly, Swrve, last I looked, only had them up to a size 44 or 45 which was too small for me.

Those shoes look identical to a pair owned by Peter. Except that his are dutch, from the 80's, almost certainly have no ability to mount spd cleats, and are each roughly the size of Noah's Ark.
