I used the German book. The directions through the tensioning stage jived with my brain. After that, it was just another opportunity to hone by truing skills.
Surprisingly uncomplicated, I think.

I ordered a copy of The Bicycle Wheel by Jobst "King of the Retrogrouches" Brandt to donate to the shop. I'll make some laminated copies of the lacing instructions.
