Quad 4 Dreams, Sunday July 25th, 2010

The event is on Sunday July 25, 2010 at Veteran's Park in Culver City (Overland and Culver Blvd.)
It's called the Quad4Dreams DREAM PLAN SCHOLARSHIP, and it's to launch a new scholarship program for kids who are graduating from high school
who have an I.E.P. (Individualized Educational Plan), and who are going on to some sort of higher ed- college, or vocational training or what have you.
They will be eligible for a $5000 scholarship.

There are two parts to this as well, a booth with bike checkups, and ride leaders. Please let me know if this interests you in any way

I will be able to help from 8am to 2pm (Full shift).  Let me know when are where I need to be.  Do I show up at 8am there or do I go somewhere else first (i.e. Bikerowave) to pick up any supplies?  What is the required dress attire (Volunteer or BRW T-shirts)?

Jordan, there is not enough support for this event. If you would like to do it yourself, stop by the BRW tomorrow and can tell you what needs to be done

Sorry I was not able to stop by on Thursday.  Family wanted to go to Culver City Concert so I was unable to volunteer for Thursday.  I guess we are not doing anything for this event tomorrow.  That is too bad, I was looking forward to it.  Maybe next time we will get more help.

Since I leave near Veterans Park, I rode by to see this event.  It was very small and not worth the effort.  Cancelling was the correct decision.
