Hi.
We'll have our own booth, on festival grounds. This is what we'll be doing at the booth:
- bike on a workstand so we can demonstrate how to do a basic checkup
(bikes aren't allowed onto the festival field, so we can't do our mainstay, the free bike checkup)
- we'll have a laptop and a large LCD screen and we'll be helping folks find the safest or fastest bike route between two points of their choosing
- showing short films about LA-area bike coops, Bikerowave slideshow
- giving out raffle prizes, bike maps, informational flyers, and promoting the BikeRoWave!
There are two more spots open for this event, I need
two hands on deck on
May 30th, Sunday, from 11am to 7pm. Yes, it's a long day, but it'll be super lacksadaisical - you get in free, and there may even be free food coupons for the participating vendors. First come, first serve basis, please post on this thread if you're willing to help out on May 30th.
