The Mar Vista Neighborhood Association is having a Summer Block Party, June 19 from 12p-3p, on Barry Avenue
We were thinking about doing the standard checkup, and maybe a valet, but we need enough volunteers.
Please let me know if you are down.

Should we give people 1hr free stand time if they mention the Block Party and come in that Saturday as a neighborly gesture? (Say if somebody can't get things sorted at the stand?)

There is a rolling cart, located under the fridge in back, that I built and donated, that can carry everything down the street to Barry. It is very, very strong and with the rope it is easy to pull any load.

This event was awesome. Free food all day, wheee. A few bikes and a decent amount of interest.
Myself, Raina Schwarze and Mihai Peteu all put in about 4 hours.
