What he said:
Don't get me wrong, I love the bike...it's just a little to big for me and the gear changes are a little off...even after a major tune-up. I have been looking to replace the components with more era like components (instead of putting on new stuff as I had told you during the transaction), but haven't seen anything in decent shape. Do you have anything on hand that I can purchase? Or know anyone? I actually went back to the bike shop looking for parts on Monday but they weren't open. Said to come back at 6:00 PM...weird...
The price I put up was just a buffer so that if any negotiation is required I could at least get back what I had paid for it. I have actually been offered a grand a few days ago riding it..Ideally, I would just like to trade for a smaller/newer bike.
I will follow your suggestion for the picture taking. I'm didn't know there was an etiquette in bike placement. I guest that's why all the real flippers have their bike facing that way...
The seat I took off the first day...that thing is very very uncomfortable. Will be replacing it if I do sell it. Nothing was scratched or damaged. Well, this past Memorial day...I had heard about padded bike shorts...maybe I'll try it with them.
I appreciate all the comments and really do genuinely appreciate the bike!

I sold my bike to a flipper...
I don't think your price is what it's worth, but I wish you good fortune none the less.
Also, my recommendation is to turn the bike around and photograph the drive side. No one wants to see a bike from the non-drive side.
I'd pull all that lock / computer stuff off too. It junks up a really sweet bike.
And let me guess, the seatpost got really scratched up when you lowered it to try fitting it to you?
It's a 56, but you should know that.
