It's just about a week from today.  Who's making this happen?  Who's doing the planning?

Is it happening?

What's up?

-Matt (NZ) made fliers.  Last I heard he and Beff Wiwwow are supposed to distribute them.
-I'll email Gern and see where we stand with lights, now that we have a budget.
-I talked to the "Tamale Lady".  She said she'll be there.
- emailed and called Donnie Pepper concerning grilled cheeses... no reply.
-If all else fails, we can fall back on the taco truck.
-Brainstorming on decorations and hors d'oeuvres .
-Will contact Alex Molina about DJ'ing

Can we save the parking spaces out front for the bike valet?  Last time the (bike) parking situation was FUCKED.   There were bikes ON bikes. Two were locked to my bike and I had to track down the owners so that I could leave.

(bike) Parking Solution?

I'll e-mail Circle A donuts and see if we can get some of their vegan donut goodness on site.

I was going to try to come up with a flier but if Matt has it taken care of that's awesome. Shane is working on a route for our ride to the other co-ops to invite them to the party. This is going to happen this sunday. Unfortunately the bikery will be closed this day but hopefully we can leave them something in their mail. Are there any other ideas on stops we should make to flier along the way?

Also if we drum up interest in these areas there probably needs to be rides lead from there to the bwave. Some of you are good at making such things happen, it would be awesome if you did.

Bacon might not be a hit with the many vegans.  Gruyere.  On rye...  Yum.

The vegan donut people are not responding.  Maybe I'll have to whip up some vegan sushi, as grilled bread lacks a certain gustatory appeal.

Regarding the grilled cheese:

unless you feel like sitting the party out to make grilled cheese, it's not happening.  Also, this is not something in the party budget.  The tamales and/or taco truck should be more than sufficient for party-goers.

Additionally:

the party welcomes dishes if people feel like 'potlucking', but it's not required nor will it be advertised.

Party on.

I can ping the $1 vegan taco guy, or do we think we've got the Mexican foodstuffs covered?

The other coops have been personally invited, only took 62.8 miles if I recall correctly. @Gus, there are fliers to pass out at the shop now. Matt has a poster I guess he can post, I may try making another poster design for internet uses.
This was going to be the base, if someone wants to mess around and make their own feel free.
