Kieron & Ryan kick ass!  I'm skipping the Transformers movie to make a flip book animation in homage to y'all. - 4 (44.4%)

Kieron is cool but Ryan is just ok.  I'm not doing anything creepy. - 0 (0%)
Ryan is the bomb and I suppose I would give Kieron the time of day.  I'd do something strange as a tribute but I'm too hungover. - 0 (0%)
I'm too self involved to admit how cool these guys are. - 3 (33.3%)

This last week was a great week for us.  We had a successful meeting and pulled off two events.  Ryan and Kieron both put a huge amount of energy into organizing our booth at the Bicycle Film Festival Block Party and the BIG BANG Fourth of July BBQ, ride, party.  I encourage everyone who enjoyed these events to approach both of these guys and thank them.  Also, for the BFF Block Party, as Kieron pointed out, Tom Bosch did a lot of the preparatory work and deserves special recognition.

The Fourth of July event showed what an important role Bikerowave can play for social bike riding on the Westside.  Kieron organized a great ride and party reminiscent of the old days of Midnight Ridazz - and without BRW's involvement it would have still been one of the best rides out here ever.  Bikerowave can't and shouldn't take credit for successful rides organized outside of BRW.  One weak point of MRidazz in the old days was that we began by gathering in a parking lot across from a liquor store - not the best pre party.  By having the BBQ at Bikerowave beforehand we were able to have a really good community party before the ride, and I think it helped make the ride even more fun.  Increasingly rides have been meeting and leaving from Bikerowave, but this is the first time we've seen the potential of Bikerowave in terms of hosting a party before a ride.  Impressive!!

In terms of imprinting Bikerowave on biking minds in LA this weekend was a smashing success.

I can't wait for movie nights!  This is SOOOOO cool.

What Alex said. I was just riding home thinking about how well the events of the past week have been executed and their affect on getting recognition for the BRW. I wanted to add my kudos to Ryan and Kieron for their work. super duper fucking awesome job guys!

p.s. Alex, you weren't kidding about the swear-friendly filters on here, nice.

This was a really good time!

The party before hand was great as well.  Bodhi (my little man) has been tellin' everyone about it all day.

Can I split my vote between #1 and #5?  Ha ha.

Thank you for the kind words.

Big thanks to everyone who came to the event.  All I did was set a few things up and it was the people who came out for a good time who made it what it was.  It would not have been fun without you.  Really, everyone who came out showed a lot of (bike) love and you owe it all to yourselves.  I loved every bit of our Fourth celebrations and had a great time.  I'm glad that other people did too.

I think this is evidence of how strong our bike community is right now and it can only grow from here.
