Howdy everybody, I wanted to announce I will be performing at Molly's this Monday with an R&B singer named Jen Hersch. I don't know too much about the songs we'll be playing yet, I'm assuming that there will be a few R&B standards and probably some originals, but either way it should be a good time. If nothing else everyone should come because the band is ridiculous; full horn section, keys, guitar, bass, and drums. These are all guys and gals I knew from back on the east coast, and collectively over the past year members of this group have recorded and/or toured with the likes of: New Edition, the Backstreet Boys, Ashanti, Dave Grohl, Dr. Dre, Al Green, the 2 previous American Idol winners, a number of recordings for Def Jam, and more I can't think of, so come check us out. Molly's is on Fairfax and 6th. Be There!

I'm going to try to make this - but it will entail someone covering for me from 8:30 to 10 tonight.

i would recommend coming to this show, the rehearals this weekend sounded great. don't bother getting anyone to cover, just close the shop and have everyone bike down! oh, and the singer is loaded, the afterparty's gonna be at her mansion in malibu. bring appropriate hot tub attire.

it is far, i don't recommend trying to make it all the way across town to malibu. if anyone actually shows ad wants to hang afterwards i'll have room in the car for some folks and a bike or two.

I dunno if you dare ask - but you should dare to ask then you should ask Tom, since he is Buttrumpus.

yeah, the name is a long story, but made short i'll say it involves Joe Paterno, a loaf of white bread, and a secret underground organization. i've said too much already.

Thanks for the clarification.  I wasn't talking about you though.  I meant Alex C.  I guess I confused boogalooShrimp with buttrumpus.  Crazy names boys.
