I know that there's a lot of cyclists in the LA area, and I'm sure that Critical Mass's are held fairly regularly, but I can't seem to find any up-to-date info on when and where rides are held.  Could somebody please fill me in?  (I'm located in the Valley if that's of any relevance)

There are several CM in Los Angeles metro area at different times...all have a very different vibe. You could start your own, too!

bike boom isn't very up to date, there's numerous rides there not even listed.

i suggest:

midnightridazz.com
and talk around... go to the http://www.valleybikery.com/ and ask they'll definitely help you out
