...It’s going to be really, really fun. We are starting at 1pm at the Santa Monica Museum of Art (Bergamot Station) for registration (you can pre-register online and even score a free bike rental through Perry’s if you act quickly). From 2-4pm we will have a bike flag making workshop. From 4-5 would be our bike check up period. From 5-8/8:30pm we will coast from arts venue to arts venue with stops at The Broad Stage, the Miles Playhouse, and the 18th Street Arts Center. At each stop there will be a special bit of programming: music, exhibition tours, and even a 15-member swing band for swing dancing! Whole Foods is providing snacks, Y-water is providing drinks, and there is even the nutty Coolhaus hand-made ice cream sandwich truck on site during the workshop period. Would love to have you guys there.

We are part of the bike check-up period but would like us there earlier at 1pm to set up as they are expecting a pretty big turn-out.  It would be great if we could have 3-4 people committed to be there.  Some mild wrenching, food and drink, some air in the tires some smiles and cards given out (like SMFM outreach).   It sounds like fun and a great outreach opportunity for the Bikerowave.  Anyone want to come be part of this?  YES!

This sounds like a good time.

I'll do it. Hopefully some other people will come help me out. Three people would be just enough. If you haven't done outreach like this (i.e. Farmer's market), it usually is a lot of fun. It's a lot less stressful because you aren't expected to fix all their problems; we usually just pump tires, adjust brakes, and oil chains.

I'm going on the ride so I'll stop by at 4, maybe earlier, to help out if needed.
