I think you're going to want to leave earlier than 7. Gates are at 7:30, and it will probably take 45 min to an hour+ to get there. Bikes can jump to (more or less) the beginning of the car line, but that's still behind a good bit of the walk-in line on the grass - if you really want to get a good spot, have someone save a spot in the walk-in line.

I am not sure if I'll make it because I have some other stuff going on in the South Bay area all afternoon, but I do want to go to more of the screenings this summer. I kind of want to go for Rebel Without a Cause next week, schedule permitting.

Just to emphasize that point, Cinespia's screenings are usually at capacity and if you don't get there early enough you won't get in.  Last summer there were so many people in attendance that you'd have to get there about 5:30 or 6:00 to get a good spot.  It's still early in the season so I doubt it's that's bad but to be on the safe side, I would leave Bikerowave no later than 5:30.

I probably won't be able to check out Harold & Maude but I bike the sound of Rebel Without A Cause.

If you bike, you can cut to the front of the car line, so I think you'll get in if you get there a few minutes before gate opening - but you might not get a great spot. I only made it to the first one this year, but it was really crowded.

Geez, I guess it's been awhile since I've attended one of the screenings. I don't remember things being so difficult. Honestly, if you have to get there 3-4 hours before the movie starts, I'd rather be out riding somewhere else than sitting in a graveyard waiting for the movie to start.

Who's in for Pee Wee's Big Adventure on Aug 4? Last time it played, there were a TON of people on bikes... we should have a big group ride. It's going to get crowded, so we should bike over early (though hopefully we can get them to let bikes in halfway through the walk-ins).
