Wait - the Fall double is sold out already?  Fuck that - I'll ride somewhere else.  They can be as exclusive as they like - I hope their club is fun for them.  I'm not going to commit and pay for a major ride 5 MONTHS in advance when I could easily get hurt or have some other reason not to ride.

a 200 mile ride in the desert w/ checkpoints full of goodies and water might be a bit of a logistical challenge w/ more than 300 ppl. also, lodging is limited in furnace creek so the town may set the limit.

either way it's awesome out there

The logistical difficulty in no worse than linear, perhaps log linear.  Basically they're wooses (spelling anyone?)

I wanted to do it last year and it sold out in August or something.
