In case word of this way under-publicized event has not reached you:

http://bikesummitla.wetpaint.com/?t=anon

I will be going, but it would be great if we could have a substantial BRW presence at this event.

Thanks for posting this, it's obvious that there's a disconnect between different generations of riders.  I vaguely have heard of this.  "They" don't know how to reach the MR crowd, and I def don't know how to get the Wheelmen's attention (using them as an example of old people who ride bikes, which may or may not be true).

Can we have a table at this event or is it too late for such a thing to be set up?

Definitely BikeRoWave can have an organizational table at the Bike Summit - to reserve a table, email LABikeSummit@gmail.com

We're encouraging folks to register for Bike Summit by next Monday 2/23 - so we can know how about how many lunches to order.  Go to www.labikesummit.org and click on register.

I will be attending. Donald, Mihai--who would also like to join us at a table?  I've been asked to participate in a "Bike Wrenching Cooperatives Panel" there.  Should be interesting.  I'd love to see a bunch of BRWers in the audience and attending the summit.

I will definitely work a table.

I'll be there - I can help with the table.

Anyone else going from Santa Monica and want to ride together?

Of course!  I'm registered, let's do this.

All I have to do now is pick a tie...

Well... If Erock posts about Bikerowave spandex, then we definably need a Bikerowave tie.  Maybe we should all wear one so we look like an organized group. Grin

Design and fabrication ideas anyone?

If anyone wants to ride as a group, I'll be leaving from the Crank Mob Park area at around 8am.  The route is pretty straightforward.  http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Culver-City-to-Trade-Tech

Let me know either here or via email dpstrauss@gmail.com, if you want to meet up.

I will support anyway needed.  I will drive a table(if we need a table brought with us, I'll see) and deliver goods.  Is it a black tie, spandex tie, bow ties made out of used inner tubes or zip tie affair?  Although I look stunning in my Armani tux, I'm kinda liken' the idea of bow ties made out of used inner tubes!
