Dzamn, that's entertaining and sad at the same time.  BRW should place a credit card hold for the value of the bike (once we are able to charge credit cards) and only rent out the pimpinest bikes (once we start the rental program).

Gary pointed this out.

Apparently the company that is running it is complaining, but actually the vandalism/theft/misuse was planned for, all of the vandalized bikes have been replaced, and evidently the complaints are just part of the companies attempt to bargain for a better deal from the city...

Only about 15 bikes per day (of 21,000 bikes in the fleet) are vandalized/broken/stolen/lost.
