Hi cool BikeRoWave folks !

I was wondering if there is someone on our sweet planet that researched or even smartly made a bicycle capable to work out...as usual...the legs but also the upper body area... such as abdominals, shoulder and arms...while still allowing a precise drive and looking like an helicopter.  Roll Eyes

Or even better !  a kit that consumers can buy and fix on their bike.

I am serious !
I really need informations about that and please dear readers don't hesitate to refer a manufacturers from another planet  Afro  I am open-minded and totaly non-discriminative...  angel

Have all a great Sunday evening
and a tremendous sunny week !
Sincerely
Frederic

PS: Special Thanks to the BikeRoWave boss ! On his advice I ordered the Panaracer Pasela touring on nashbar.com for a reasonable price compare to Ebay... LA stores didn't have it in stock but I am still waiting for my shipment.

But seriously, the Champiot Ultra - http://www.champiot.com/ultra.html- might be what you're looking for.

Thanks JB !

I spend at least 4 hours last night browsing all those links and sublinks... and hummm Roll Eyes the problem with all those alternative bicycle is that it is really great but you end up easily looking like a freak on wheels.

However I might be a freak because I really like this solution http://www.shuttlebike.com/ even if it just make your bicycle riding on water...or this http://www.innospares.com/ or (I wonder if that will be legal to use on Santa Monica beaches..after the waves.)

But about exercising the lower & upper body while riding these http://www.rowbike.com/ and these http://www.bodybike.org/home.htm seems a fair solution, this last one is a kit,  I think adaptable on maybe any bikes.

If you have other sources I'll glad to browse it.

There 's a couple of there hand bikes that frequent the Beach Bike Path near Venice.  I've seen a rowbike or two, and a few hand crank guys.  Some go forward whichever way you turn the cranks and freewheel - clever engineering.  I've also seen a recumbent - I think Victor at Bicycle Workshop (17th and Ocean Park) would have some info on that recumbent.
