BikeRoWave Bicycle Coop lives thru it's volunteers hands grease not neccessarry
Yes BRW needs people to do something positive, and It doesn't always mean dirty hands. In fact we need alot of help with the clean hands type of work. Examples: Computer work(Website, Google Docs, Office/Shop paperwork, signs, graphics, customer data entry), Inventory, Beautification(shop design, O.K. maybe a little bit of dirty hands), PR, Community Outreach, Training...

Hey Gern & Shugo,
I'd love to offer up graphic design/flyer/artsy volunteer services, though as I mentioned before because of grad school my free time is a bit unpredictable and I might not be able to attend all meetingsn (until next summer anyway). I'm not saying I would be unreliable, but that I'd need flexibility/fair warning about deadlines. If the shop is ok with that, then I'd be more than happy to lend a hand. Let me know what you guys think-

All meetings are not required. What would be great though, is getting you in on some designing of some business cards, spoke cards, flyers. We have some fundraising activities coming up and could put your creative skills to work. That's volunteerism. You can do what you can. It doesn't require you showing up, other than the time you want to spend working on your bike!

it is common in english to not stick to the 5-7-5 format, as 5-7-5, refers to sounds not translatable to sylibles, japanese to english.
