scroll few pages back to find a link to the original post regarding Mega Powder Coating.

Pip pip old bean, not to worry.

You can give Mega Powder Coating a call (626) 279-6200, and they'll tell you if it's done.

I'm still waiting on mine as they didn't have the powder in stock, so I'm going to have to go and pick mine up at some point (hopefully this weekend), so you're welcome to ride out with me if they're ready.

Since I'm headed out there anyway, does anybody else want come along to drop off a frame?

it would be awesome if this became an endless cycle of sorts whereupon an individual's return to pick up their newly telemagenta coated frame, an others old and chipped steal beast was left in the hands of javier, the saturday shift's dusty powder coat technician, to be sand blasted and turned an equally odd color.

this will never end.

That would be awesome, although I have a feeling that if I made more than one or two trips over there, I'd have to bring them fresh overalls and respirators, as just hanging out there made me cough.

Deborawr/Dylan, I'll be headed over there as soon as my bike's done, which hopefully will be soon.  I'm waiting for the powder to come in.  I'll post up here when I know something.  If all goes well, it will be Saturday, and I'll be happy to give rides to as many people/frames as can fit in my car.  (I may drag you all out to that guy on Craigslist's place to pick up a cheap Vuelta wheelset while I'm there, as I don't venture deep in the SGV that often).

Happy Thanksgiving!

Update - No word from MPC, so I won't be headed out there this weekend.

Still no word from MPC.

Saw this bike on craigslist today though - http://losangeles.craigslist.org/lac/bik/946471422.html ,
and it made me realize it's going to be worth the wait.  I can't even look at that thing and keep a straight face, so hopefully mine will be almost as fun.
