I called Mega this afternoon and talked to a soft spoken and almost inaudible gentleman who quoted me 60 a piece.  any deal they might give would happen if there were multiple bikes being coated the same color.

I would like to go out to El Monte on Saturday, the 15th of November--they are open from 7 to 12pm on Saturday.  Please, let me know when your bike will be prepped for the dive to El Monte.

SO FAR:

Morgan (2X)
Deborah
Elizabeth
JB
Mihai
Paula
Steve Hugo
Kwang

Total: 9 bikes.

As Henry Ford once said, you can have any color you want as long as it's black. That would actually save me the trouble of trying to match the black fork.

Do they have a color chart we can refer to?

I'm pretty sure I want RAL 4003, assuming they use a similar chart.

Here's another chart that's easier to see. Same reference #s as JB's reference.

http://www.spectrumpowderworks.com/spwdesign.php?section=bp&sectionpicture=1&fadeOut=false&whichPic=1&onEnterFrame=%5Btype+Function%5D&fadeIn=false

Can we get a vote on each person's preference to see if we have any chance of group color discount?

I am leaning towards RAL 6019, 6021 or 6027.

I'm going for a white, maybe ivory ish, maybe cream ish.  not sure.  Alex C might do white, so that would be 3.

They won't tell me what color catalog they use, hopefully these are the only colors out there, and hopefully they have them all.

I think Elizabeth and I were hoping for hot pink, so that would be two, but hopefully they can do individual colors.

I think I need to see their swatches in person before I can actually commit...but if I go pink then:

RAL 4010 Telemagenta
RAL 4003 Heather Violet

I might also like a purple or utility blue type color. Do they only do normal colors or can I get something shimmery?

No way!  I'm thinking pink frame, baby blue deep Vs, white tires.  Should be hilarious (oh, and patriotic).

Telemagenta is the coolest color name ever.

I'm going for white as well (Bike and fork), so make that 4.  My bike's not stripped yet, hopefully get it done tonight or this weekend at the latest.

I'm also contemplating some combination of celeste and pink, but I think if I do that I'll do celeste accessories.

I wouldn't mind a shimmery pink like 80s Univega's or the Motobecane fixie: http://www.bikesdirect.com/products/motobecane/images/msg_pink_gallery/

Brighter could also be good.
