ULTIMAAATE!

So this might be strange, but while at the b-wave, I overheard people talking about playing Ultimate? I used to play but haven't in a while and kinda wanna get back into it. Is there a group or club or pickup game or something that happens in Santa Monica?

I've googled up some ultimatefrisbee meetup thing that meets under the hollywood sign or something, but I was wondering if there wasn't something a touch closer.

Ultimate frisbee or (ultimate) friz? friz being in reference to the modified version of ultimate frisbee on bikes...

Nope, not bike related, which is why I thought it might be strange to bring up. Ultimate as in run around a field, form a stack, make cuts, and go whhheeeeeeeeeee!

I just found that site recently as well. There's also a listing of two games on the UPA site.

I was just wondering about it since I heard it being talked about in the shop, so I figured other people might have recommendations of particular games to go out to. I guess I will figure that out on my own!

Lucky for you guys, I happen to play ultimate competitively!

ERock and I are planning on attending some beach ultimate pick-up at some point.
