http://www.californiacycleways.orgDennis was a historian and tireless bicycle advocate in the area. He curated an exhibit on the Wheels of Change bicycle exhibit at the Pasadena Museum of History a few years ago and has been promoting the rebirth of the Horace Dobbins Cycleway, a bicycle path from Pasadena to downtown that was started in the 1890's. A few years ago he got the city to close the 110 freeway to cars so cyclists could ride on it to raise awareness for the cycleway. It was such a COOL event.
Dennis will be sorely missed in the cycling community.

Pasadena Museum of History
470 W Walnut Street (corner of Orange Grove Blvd.), Pasadena
A memorial service will be held on the scenic grounds of the Pasadena Museum of History, one of Dennis' favorite places. After the service a group of friends will travel up Angeles Crest Highway to pay their respects to Dennis.
BTW- Is it any coincidence that a few days after Dennis passed away a huge sinkhole developed on the 110 freeway?
