Hi I am new to LA!! I was told that I can create a bike at the lovely Bikerowave! I am fairly poor (thats another reason I love to bike) I was just wondering how expensive it is to make a decent bike? I ride a real crappy bike at least 30 miles 4 times a week, It would be nice to have something nicer without spending a lot. Im planning on stopping in soon maybe on Thursday. I was just wondering what kind of monster i could make, or if that is even how it works

Thanks,
Angie

In terms of minimizing overall expense, it might just be easiest to come in with your crappy bike and see what we can do to turn it into a happy bike.  That's usually the most cost effective way to do it.
(It's amazing what lubricating the chain, truing the wheels, and adjusting the brakes

You're also welcome to check out the inventory to see if there's something you like better that you'd like to fix up and ride.

Swing by, tell us what you've got and/or what you're looking for, and we'll help you get started.
