SM Councilman Kevin McKeown has asked the community to put together a list of the lights that don't detect bikes which most need it.  Does anyone have some good ones?  Like Arizona - aren't there places on that street where late night you're forced to run lights because they won't change for you?  What about Centinela & Olympic?  Or Stewart and Olympic?

Stewart and Olympic on the north side southbound rarely even works for cars.

Centinela at Broadway and Colorado Blvd.'s.  East/West bound directions late in the evening you can sit at the light for 5-10 minutes, even in a car.

Stewart & Olympic! North/South bound.
and late night the light isn't long enough to cross the street.

Pico & 33rd, (by Trader Joe's) North bound.

Broadway at 26th east/west bound, late at night the signal jusst stays green in the North/South direction until a car trips a sensor.  No sensors in bike lane.

Most bike laned streets seem to be fine, but in my normal commuting 17th and Colorado is an issue and it has a bike lane going down in it on 17th. Not a detection issue per say, but I find that the yellow light to make an unprotected turn on to Broadway from 26th is excessively short, making it awkward to get through with the slower acceleration of a bike. This is a common turn for me to get onto Broadways nice bike lane from work.

Pearl at Centinela West bound.  At rush hour, when there are no motor vehicles waiting for a(n) West/East green light, I have watched as the North/South crosswalk signal goes from a 'walk' to a 'don't walk' and then right back to a 'walk'.  The signal should have continued to a yellow then red for the No./So. traffic and a green for the E./W. traffic (me on a bike).
