i'm just a bit excited to see my hometown hosting a pro and continental level race. check out the gallery for exciting shots of allentown, pa.
also of note, lehigh county is up for consideration to become home of the u.s. cycling hall of fame. way back when, the rodale family, a group who helped start the organic food movement in the u.s. built a velodrome in the allentown suburb of trexlertown. its become a hub for riding, and has developed at least two olympic champions that i know of. i used to go to the velodrome when i was a kid to watch races and ride with some friends. pretty rad.

how fond the memories are of the days spent puffing on the tenth letter in the whistle dime

how about a translation for the terminaly UNhip?

Don't tell me, being 'hip' is already pase too.

I still haven't figured out where 'def' came from, or 'baum' (or is it 'bomb' or 'bom') either.

puffing = smoking
the tenth letter = j, short for a joint
whistle dime = 610, a-town's area code
