Unfortunately, there was a miscommunication at Bikerowave and Bike Build Day is canceled. (Don't kill me, I'm just the messenger!) I'm sure Bikerowave will get it rescheduled fast.

We talked about this, and sorry but there will be no more bike build days. We are also changing the name of the shop to the canoerowave.

On this topic, we will only sell used canoes that need repairs, and other canoe like accessories.

And, to add to this further. In the upcoming weeks there will be the first ever boatbuild day. Come build tallboats, and freakboats, but don't forget, we are a canoeshop at heart, so please come and build us a canoe.

Canoical Mass meets the second Friday before the third Tuesday of the month, 7pm at the Venice Canals.

Also come to the Santa Monica City Council meeting on Tuesday to lobby of an extension of the canal system east to the Red Line, 6pm at City Hall. I'm not sure if we're on the Agenda yet but I made a bunch of signs.

also, canoes longer than 18ft must have 2 life preservers and a VHF radio. for canoing after dark you must have paddle reflectors.

I know its a joke (or do I?) but it also sounds really appealing. Maybe it was the slightly racist bugs bunny cartoon with the llil' injun but canoes make me feel peaceful on the insides, unless Burt Reynolds is in one....then it just turns me on!
