Hello, I had been meaning to go to the Bikerowave for some time, preferably before I had a problem with my bike.  However I just finished a Ride-Arc, and my bike did just fine the whole way except right as I pulled up to my building when I got home I heard a pop and I noticed my rear wheel somehow got bent and a spoke popped loose.  I must have hit a pothole or something because it felt fine the whole way and another rider would have certainly seen the problem had it occurred earlier.  The bike is not ride-able and thank god that if it had to happen it happened right as I arrived home.

Anyway, my question is, is it acceptable to show up to the Bikerowave with this problem and pretty much no idea how to fix it, and expect someone to be able to walk me through the process of fixing it?  Or should I not come in until I'm well-read on the topic and pretty much know what to do to fix it?  As it stands now, I am quite clueless, and if it is appropriate to just roll in their with my damaged wheel I'd like to do that, but if that is not exactly how it is supposed to work please let me know.

I understand we are paying by the hour, plus for parts, and that the point is to learn to fix the stuff yourself and I am fine with that, it is purely a question of how clueless is it ok to be when we walk in.

It's acceptable, expected, and normal to come in having no idea what to do.  That's what we do at Bikerowave = we walk you through the whole process.  100% clueless is 100% fine.  Come in, don't be shy!
