LUCE General Plan Housing Element - Tue 6:45pm, City Hall

A City Council public hearing on the 2008-2014 Draft General Plan Housing Element will be held this Tuesday at 6:45 in the City Council Chambers (2nd floor).

"The Draft Housing Element defines goals and programs that will guide the City's efforts to maintain housing affordability and to produce new housing for the community.

Review and comment on the recently held public workshop exploring the integration of Transportation, Economics & Housing in the Land Use and Circulation Element. The Council will dscuss and provide direction on issues including, but not limited to economic and and affordable/workforce housing opportunities. Citywide policies to manage transportation and provide programs for reducing emissions for a sustainable future will also be addressed".
